We invite you to participate in the 8th International Symposium on Aquatic Animal Health (ISAAH) by submitting an abstract for either an Oral or Poster Presentation for this event happening from September 2 – 6th 2018, in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, Canada. Abstract submission will open in January 2018 along with early-bird registration on this website. You can find information on the Abstract Submission Criteria here.

This prestigious meeting of Aquatic Animal Health Professionals only occurs once every 4 years, with the last meeting having been held in Portland, Oregon, USA in 2014. We are fortunate to have the participation at the 8th ISAAH of the World Aquatic Veterinary Medical Association (WAVMA) and the American Association of Fish Veterinarians (AAFV).  Both organizations will be holding their special sessions at the 8th ISAAH which will be eligible for veterinarian continuing education. We encourage all of our Aquatic Veterinary Colleagues to refer to WAVMA or AAFV websites for more information on these special sessions, and submission criteria for Oral Presentations at these annual meetings.

Traditionally, the ISAAH meeting provides both General and Special Sessions on many aspects of aquatic animal health, and for the upcoming meeting in Charlottetown in September 2018, several Special Sessions are planned. The accompanying table lists the Sessions the Program Committee will be targeting for Oral Presentations (refer to Preliminary Session Table below). As is the case in previous ISAAH meetings, Poster Presentations are open to all aspects of aquatic animal health, so we encourage submission from a variety of research projects, disease investigations and novel findings!

The ISAAH Program Committee is open to suggestion from our Aquatic Animal Health Colleagues for additional Special Session.  If you or a group of your colleagues would like to hold a specific Special Session, please contact one of the following contacts:
